Year 3 and 4 Cookery Morning

To launch their new topic 'Scrumdiddlyumptious!' Year 3 and 4 took part in a cookery workshop yesterday, delivered by Little Sprouts. The children made their own bread, tortilla cups and chopped lots of different fruits and vegetables to make rainbows on their tables. They also learned about where different fruits and vegetables are grown around the world, and located these countries on a world map. At the end of the morning the children tasted homemade pasta sauce, along with their bread and tortilla cups which they filled with fruit. They all thoroughly enjoyed this experience.
