In Early Years Foundation Stage, our teacher is Mrs Angus and we also work with Mrs McGarrity.

Tapestry Online Journal

All of our children in Nursery and Reception have an online learning journal that parents can access to see how their child is assessed at school. Staff in EYFS post observations with photos and videos of the chidlren; parents and carers are able to comment on the observations with their secure logins, through the app or on the website - www.eylj.org.

Here are some comments that parents have made about Tapestry:

My child likes using technology and has been using an IPad and my IPhone since she could walk really but hasn't been on a desk top computer before so it's really nice to see her using the different IT equipment. I think it's crucial children learn good IT skills at a young age and it's great to see her getting access to this at school.

 My child has really started to show a lot more confidence and ability since starting back in September, I can really see a change in him, he is doing so well.

 Lovely picture and my child told me all about the different colours she used she loves painting and I always enjoy her paintings she brings home.

 Great to see this, I've really noticed an improvement in my child’s  writing since the weekly homework and the cards and pens the school provided, it gives us parents an extra push to get our child to write more she loves to do her homework and always excited to show me her new homework.

 My child loves the wake and shake sessions and told me about one she did today at school, it's great that you provide such a variety of activities for the children.
