Extra Curricula and After School Activities

Wilton Primary Academy offers pupils the opportunity to participate in an exciting range of after school activity clubs. The clubs provide for curriculum enrichment and sporting activities. In the Autumn term the children enjoyed multi skills, basketball, football and street dance. In the Spring term, the multi skills club continued for all children and we also held a gymnastics club. In the Summer term, we will be holding a robotics club, cookery club and dance club.

The activities and clubs change on a half termly basis so please see our School Calendar and Facebook page for up to date information of what is on offer for the children.
Residential Visit for KS2 Children
Each year, we run a residential trip to an Outdoor Activity Centre for our Key Stage 2 children.  We believe this trip is very important in bulding our children's independence, confidence and self-esteem.  In recent years we have visited Kingswood Activity Centre in Northumberland, East Barnby Outdoor Education Centre, outside Whitby, St Johns Centre in the Lake District and Peat Rigg Outdoor Centre in Pickering.
In 2019, we will again be visiting Peat Rigg, click on the link below to find out more about Peat Rigg Activity Centre.
